Energia Welcome to the official page of Energia. We have a jointly owned 30 MMSCFD gas processing plant which is adjacent to our Flow station.

Energia Limited is a wholly owned Indigenous E&P company, the Joint Venture Operator of the Ebendo/Obodeti Marginal Field (ex-Obodugwa/Obodeti Marginal field) located in Ebendo near Kwale, Ndokwa West LGA, Delta State, Nigeria. Energia as a local content promoter deployed full Technical and Project Management resources to single handedly bring the Ebendo field to first oil production in 2009. In addition to our in-house technology group, we also collaborated with other service providers indigenous to the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry in our first Oil production activities. We operate from our own 10,000 bbls crude processing station (flowstation) at Ebendo and export produced crude through our 8.5 km, 6 inches export line through an Injection Hub, at Umusadege, also in Kwale, Delta State. As part of our strategic development and growth plan, we are progressing with the design and installation of 10,000bspd mini
refinery plant within our area of operation. The plant will be modular with the capacity of upscaling to 30-50,000bbls per
stream day (bspd) and will sited in a 20 hectares land about 500 meters from our crude processing facility is to produce Mixed
Liquefied Petroleum Gas, Petrol Motor Spirit (Super Gasoline), House Hold Kerosene, Automotive Gasoil, Jet Fuel and Low Pour
Fuel Oil. The refinery upon completion will guarantee continuous production of our upstream reservoir/Wells in the face of the perennial
shut downs from frequent pipeline vandalizations and crude oil terminal outages and declining crude oil price; reduce crude oil
theft and ensure optimal operation of our gas processing plant that feeds from the associated gas from our flowstation.

At the NAPE Pre-Conference Workshop 2026, Energia Chairman, George Osahon, presented on “Deepening Value from Mature Assets: Insights from an E&P Operator,” highlighting deep hydrocarbon plays in the Niger Delta as the next layer of brownfield growth.

He later joined an industry panel session on “Navigating Nigeria’s Upstream Future: Exploration and Development Approaches vs. Energy Security Demand,” contributing to discussions on the approaches required to advance exploration and development while meeting Nigeria’s evolving energy security needs.

These engagements reflect the importance of technical innovation, strategic investment and effective resource development in unlocking value from Nigeria’s upstream assets.

At the NAPE Pre-Conference Workshop 2026 yesterday, our Subsurface Manager, Muaz Obadaki, delivered the theme remark on behalf of our MD/CEO, Oladimeji Bashorun, highlighting the critical role indigenous operators must play in shaping Nigeria’s upstream future.

Drawing from Energia’s 25-year journey, the address highlighted the importance of operational excellence, technological innovation, infrastructure development, gas utilisation, local technical expertise and strategic partnerships in unlocking the full potential of Nigeria’s oil and gas resources.

Our journey has not been only about crude production.

In 2011, Energia commissioned the NEDO Gas Plant, a 25 MMSCFD gas-processing facility developed with Xenergi.

The facility marked an important step in our work to utilise associated gas and expand the value created from our operations.

As we commemorate 25 years of Energia’s journey in Nigeria’s upstream sector, we look forward to engaging industry leaders and stakeholders at the NAPE Pre-Conference Workshop (PCW) on 21 October 2026.

Our CEO, Oladimeji Bashorun, will speak on “Shaping Tomorrow’s Energy: The Indigenous Operator’s Role in Nigeria’s Upstream Future,” exploring the role of indigenous operators in shaping the future of Nigeria’s upstream industry.

The PCW will also feature a dedicated Energy Symposium, creating a platform for industry dialogue on the opportunities, challenges and possibilities shaping the sector.

Since first oil in 2009, Energia has developed infrastructure to support crude evacuation and gas utilisation, including an 8.5 km, 6-inch crude export pipeline connecting the Ebendo Flowstation to the Umusadege Group Gathering Facility.

That infrastructure is part of a larger story of learning, adapting and building the systems required to operate effectively in the Niger Delta.

A quarter-century of experience is not simply about time. It is about what we have built, learned and carried forward.

Some of Energia’s community investments address everyday needs.

Our historical community development projects included borehole and water-supply schemes in Obodougwa-Ogume and Umusam, including water projects serving Ogbogwe Primary School and Umusam Primary School.

For us, these projects demonstrate why understanding community priorities matters. Development is not only about large infrastructure. Sometimes, it is about solving a practical need that affects everyday life.

Our community investment story is part of our broader journey.

Since inception, more than ₦16 billion has been invested in six host communities through the Community Trust Fund, supporting sustainable development projects across infrastructure, education, livelihoods, healthcare and youth development.

Those investments reflected an important part of our approach: creating value that extends beyond the immediate boundaries of our operations.

At Energia, we see it as an opportunity to understand expectations, share information, identify priorities and find practical ways to create value together.

Our relationship with host communities continues to evolve. In 2026, we signed an MoU with its host communities alongside the inauguration of the Ndokwa West Host Community Development Trust.

The structure of engagement may evolve, but the principle remains: sustainable development works better when people are part of the conversation.

Before operations began in 2009, we took time to understand our operating environment and the communities around us.

That understanding informed how Energia approached stakeholder engagement from the beginning.

For us, community engagement has never been separate from the work. It is part of understanding where we operate, listening to expectations and building relationships that can support sustainable development.

More than two decades on, that principle continues to shape our relationship with our host communities.
