JOB DESCRIPTION:

OPHEL CONSTRUCTION LIMITED is hiring a qualified Geotechnical Engineer with hands-on experience in Pile Load Testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and supervising field tests, analyzing results, and ensuring the integrity and performance of pile foundations on various construction projects, procurement of all require materials and Quotation Cost.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the complete logistics to execute the test

• Conduct and supervise static/dynamic pile load tests

• Interpret test results and generate accurate geotechnical reports

• Provide on-site technical support and coordination during testing activities

• Ensure all testing procedures comply with safety and engineering standards

• Maintain and calibrate geotechnical testing equipment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a Resident of Lagos state
• B.Sc. or higher in Civil, Geotechnical Engineering or any related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pile testing and related fieldwork
• Proficiency with PIT and load testing equipment/software (e.g., PDI, CAPWAP)
• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
