Honestly I did not know how to explain this to Alhaji.
Daddy what you are looking at up there is not an inverter. It is a Battery Management Unit, BMU.
Let me explain using the Deye BOS G Pro Series as an example.
Think of the BMU as the brain of the entire battery system. Many people use BMU and BMS interchangeably, but they are not exactly the same in large lithium battery systems.
Every battery module has its own BMS that monitors and protects the cells inside that module. The BMU sits above them all, collecting information such as voltage, current, temperature, State of Charge, SOC, and State of Health, SOH, from every battery module. It then coordinates the entire battery bank, determines how much power it can safely charge or discharge, and protects the system from overcharging, over discharging, overheating, overcurrent, and other faults.
The BMU also communicates with the hybrid inverter through CAN and RS485 communication protocols. This allows the inverter to know exactly how much power the battery can safely receive or deliver at any moment.
In systems like the Deye BOS G Pro Series, the BMU is what makes multiple battery modules operate as one intelligent battery. It synchronizes all the modules, manages alarms and fault reporting, controls the main contactors, and ensures the entire battery system works safely, reliably, and efficiently.
So the unit you are seeing is not an inverter. It is the BMU, the master controller that makes the entire lithium battery bank function as one complete and intelligent energy storage system.
