9 July 2026 marked a big win for people and the planet.

Together with Shell Foundation, and WAPAN we launched an expanded Used Cooking Oil (UCO) collection programme that trains and empowers waste pickers.

By turning used cooking oil into a valuable resource, we're helping to create extra income opportunities, reduce environmental pollution, and make our communities cleaner and healthier.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and supports our mission of creating sustainable solutions through waste recovery.

đź’š Every drop collected makes a difference.

Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), with Ororo Waste Management and Shell Foundation, just launched the “Kiosk Initiative” to collect used cooking oil from households!

Here’s why this matters:
✅ Monetize Your Used Oil – Earn from materials that would otherwise be wasted.
✅ Protect Our Environment – Prevent drain blockages and soil & water contamination.
✅ Support Sustainable Energy – Collected oil is converted into biofuel and other eco-friendly products.

💡 LASEPA is empowering YOU to lead the charge for a Zero Waste Lagos. Let’s make every drop count!

đź“Ť Visit your local LASEPA zonal office today to start earning from your used cooking oil.
