Exciting news to share from Nigeria, where Clarke Energy's team is well underway with commissioning the power project being delivered within the landmark Lagos Free Zone - Tolaram development. The LFZ is one of the countryโ€™s most significant industrial developments, designed to attract manufacturing investment and anchored by the Lekki Deep Sea Port, which is recognised as West Africaโ€™s first privately owned and operated deep seaport.

The facility is owned by Irele Energy LFZ Enterprise, an independent power producer (IPP) dedicated to delivering stable electricity across the LFZ. As a fully integrated port and industrial ecosystem, the zone is set to play an important role in strengthening regional trade and supply chain capacity.

The 12MW power plant comprises three INNIO Group Jenbacher J620 units and one J612 unit in a highly efficient CHP configuration, providing centralised and reliable energy to key manufacturing load centres within the zone.

Excellent work from our team in Nigeria on this landmark project, which highlights Clarke Energyโ€™s commitment to supporting the countryโ€™s industrial growth with best in class, efficient and resilient energy solutions.

Clarke Energy Hosts Inaugural Energy Cup Football Tournament in Lagos ๐Ÿ†

Clarke Energy in Nigeria was proud to recently host the first-ever Energy Cup Football Tournament in Lagos, an exciting event that brought together five teams, including our own colleagues and representatives from four of our valued customers.

The tournament created a fantastic opportunity to strengthen relationships, encourage teamwork, and connect with our customers outside the traditional business environment. Through friendly competition and shared enthusiasm for sport, we were able to engage in meaningful conversations, learn more about their evolving needs, and deepen the partnerships that continue to drive our joint success.

A huge thank you to all participating teams for their energy, sportsmanship, and commitment throughout the day making this inaugural event a memorable one. โšฝ
