You indeed spend more than when you were a tenant. Don't misquote me, it is great and awesome being a LANDLORD but be prepared for the luxurious spending attached to it. It's just like owning a car.
⭕To stop paying rent as a landlord, learn to share. Have tenants to pay the rents for you. Let your house make some money for you through renting or leasing. I always advise my client to have at least a tenant if it is their first building project.
