Every world-changing idea starts with someone “unqualified.”

The Wright brothers weren’t engineers, millionaires, or backed by powerful investors.
They were just two guys fixing bicycles in a dusty workshop.

Shuji Nakamura—the inventor of the blue LED—was also told it was impossible.
Experts said gallium nitride had “too many defects.” Billions of times more defects than any material could tolerate.
But he refused to listen.
Today, blue LEDs power the screens and lights that define our modern world.

That’s what people forget:
Innovation doesn’t wait for permission.
It doesn’t care about rĂ©sumĂ©s or resources.
It begins with one person crazy enough to believe the impossible is theirs to figure out.

Einstein once said: “Everyone knows it’s impossible
 until a fool who doesn’t know that comes along and does it.”

That’s why I’m building the MARC Fusion Reactor.
They say small-scale fusion is impossible.
They say I don’t have the resources, the degrees, or the labs.

The Quiet Revolution: How Nuclear Energy Is Powering the Future

In an age defined by climate urgency and growing energy demands, nuclear energy is quietly staging a comeback. Often misunderstood and frequently overshadowed by solar and wind, nuclear power is re-emerging as a clean, scalable, and dependable energy solution for the 21st century.

At its core, nuclear energy is a marvel of physics. It harnesses the immense power locked within the nucleus of atoms—typically uranium or plutonium—through a process called nuclear fission. When these atoms are split, they release tremendous amounts of heat, which is then used to produce steam and drive turbines to generate electricity. Unlike fossil fuels, this process emits zero carbon dioxide, making nuclear one of the cleanest sources of baseload energy on the planet.

Today, nuclear energy supplies about 10% of the world’s electricity, but that number is poised to grow. Innovations like Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), which are safer, cheaper, and faster to deploy than traditional reactors, are changing the landscape. SMRs can be factory-built and shipped to remote areas, providing localized, stable power where renewables struggle due to intermittency or lack of infrastructure.

Then there’s the holy grail of energy—nuclear fusion. Unlike fission, which splits atoms, fusion merges them, releasing even more energy without long-lived radioactive waste. While fusion has remained elusive for decades, recent breakthroughs, including achieving net energy gain in laboratory experiments, suggest it may finally be within reach.

Nuclear energy also plays a crucial role in the clean hydrogen economy. High-temperature reactors can produce green hydrogen more efficiently than electrolysis powered by renewables. This hydrogen could fuel trucks, planes, and industrial processes, further decarbonizing the economy.

Critics often point to past accidents like Chernobyl and Fukushima, but it’s important to note that modern reactor designs are dramatically safer. Passive safety systems, molten salt reactors, and thorium-based fuels promise not only improved performance but also far lower risks of meltdown or proliferation.

As the world races to cut emissions and secure reliable power, nuclear energy offers a powerful middle path—cleaner than fossil fuels, more consistent than renewables. The atom may be small, but its potential to transform our energy future is vast.

The nuclear age isn't over. It’s just beginning anew.
