My work'chop
You are been watched.
Keep being best of you,
In scaffold we find solace.
Let your action(s) make the noise
While I and my field workers were preparing for task ahead of us today, my phone ranged.
Then, a conversation that was soul soothing follows and it lightened up my face with smile.
One of my field worker noticed and felt the smile will be a good news then asked.
Ọga, this one you dey smile, we go deliver two work today?
Second guy said, ọga abeg ooo, I no too strong.
Third guy, nwoke m, e be like say you no need money, abeg ọga if another work dey me I dey active.
In all their attempt to hassle reason their ọga was smiling with a lightened up face, I continued my smile then made some hand and body gestures.
The observant one among them know that something is amiss then said "oga wetin happen"? He queried.
I said, after exhaling bubbles of air, do you remember Mr XYZ that we provided scaffold platform for his project.
They all nodded positively in unison, they know him.
I continued, he called requesting particularly one of you should forward his scaffold qualification and other certificates.
They were all amazed yet beneath such amazement was them wondering why Mr A and not me.
I help them out in their bewilderness, telling them, do you remember I always say to you guys "in whatever you've choose to do, do it with all your heart and be deligent about it because someone is watching you and taking note".
Guys, truth is doing your job the right way pays, keep being you, keep doing your best when no one is watching because reality is "someone is watching and taking note" one day your hard work will pay off.
