LIFT IT RIGHT. LIFT IT SAFE.

In offshore and industrial lifting operations, the smallest component can carry the biggest responsibility.

A lifting padeye is not “just a hole in steel.”

It is a critical engineered component designed to safely transfer loads under dynamic lifting conditions. One weak weld, poor material selection, incorrect sling angle, or lack of inspection can lead to catastrophic failure.

That is why proper lifting points must always be:
✔️ Engineered and verified
✔️ Fabricated with qualified welding procedures
✔️ Inspected using MPI / UT methods
✔️ Proof load tested
✔️ Designed with proper safety factors
✔️ Fully traceable and documented

Whether the equipment follows DNV, ISO or any other recognized standard, the objective remains the same:

In 2014, after years of hard work, technical challenges and a clear vision for local manufacturing, I had the privilege of leading the production of what became Nigeria’s first DNV 2.7-1 certified offshore container.

At that time, many believed such internationally certified offshore units could only be imported. I believed Nigeria had the talent, engineers, welders, fabricators, and determination to build to the highest global standards locally.

The journey was never easy. From understanding every detail of DNV requirements, engineering calculations, welding procedures, QA/QC systems, load testing, traceability, inspections, and certification processes — every step was a challenge and a lesson.
Today, looking back at that milestone fills me with pride. Not just because we manufactured a container, but because we helped prove that world-class offshore manufacturing can be achieved in Nigeria.

Since then, the journey has continued with more complex offshore structures, skids, lifting frames, baskets, modules, and engineering solutions built locally to international standards.

To every engineer, fabricator, technician, inspector, and team member who was part of that road
map — thank you.
