*Job Summary*
The Internal Control Officer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining effective internal control systems to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of financial and operational processes. This role involves conducting audits, identifying and mitigating risks, evaluating control effectiveness, and providing recommendations for improvement.
*Requirements*
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification is an added advantage.
• 3+ years of experience in internal audit, risk management and controls.
• Experience in a downstream oil and gas sector is an added advantage.
*Skills*
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
• Excellent attention to details.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
