I thought I was trying to fall out of love. Instead, I discovered a side of myself I never knew existed.

This was one of the worst plans I had ever made in a relationship… and somehow, it became one of the most unexpected moments of self-discovery.

I wanted to stop loving him. I wanted to make myself see him differently. I thought jealousy, heartbreak, or betrayal would finally make me let go.

I was very, very wrong.

Sometimes a relationship can reveal parts of you that you didn’t even know were there. Sometimes the thing you’re running from becomes the very thing that teaches you more about yourself.

I thought I was trying to stop loving him. I had no idea I was about to discover myself.
