Together with our partner GreenBay's Penang team, HITEC Power Protection attended the IEM IMT-GT Engineering Economy Convention 2026 in Penang, Malaysia.

Organised by the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) Penang Branch, the two-day event brought together engineers, consultants and industry professionals to exchange insights and explore opportunities for regional collaboration in engineering, infrastructure and investment.

Following our participation at Engineer & MARVEX 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, this was another valuable opportunity to connect with industry professionals and showcase HITEC's Dynamic UPS solutions, including our latest PowerPRO3. We also attended the IEM Penang Annual Dinner, providing further opportunities to strengthen relationships.

As the demand for reliable and resilient power protection continues to grow, we remain committed to supporting critical infrastructure and industrial development across the region.

Since its introduction, we have seen a strong market response to the new PowerPRO3. More than 50 units have already been ordered for projects across the Healthcare, Data Centre, Financial and Manufacturing sectors, with a substantial pipeline of new opportunities continuing to develop.

The early market response reflects what we set out to achieve with the PowerPRO3: a modern and flexible dynamic UPS platform that combines high efficiency and greater power density with enhanced serviceability, functionality and reporting, while maintaining the proven reliability required for mission-critical operations.

What makes this milestone even more significant is the diversity of applications and regions in which PowerPRO3 is being selected. It demonstrates the growing global demand for resilient and sustainable power protection.

𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗶𝗷𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗢𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗮𝗹

Afgelopen weekend stond Team HITEC met 11 collega’s aan de start van de Halve Marathon van Oldenzaal. Verdeeld over de 5 km, 10,1 km en de halve marathon ging iedereen zijn eigen sportieve uitdaging aan.

En met succes: iedereen haalde de finish! Met mooi weer, een goede sfeer en veel enthousiasme kijken we terug op een geslaagd evenement.

HITEC was daarnaast trotse sponsor van de Kids Run, waarmee ook de jongste deelnemers de kans kregen om in actie te komen.

Last weekend, 11 HITEC colleagues took on the Oldenzaal Half Marathon. Competing across the 5 km, 10.1 km and half marathon distances, everyone faced their own sporting challenge.

And with success: every member of the team crossed the finish line! With great weather, a fantastic atmosphere and plenty of enthusiasm, it was an event to look back on with pride.

HITEC was also proud to sponsor the Kids Run, giving the youngest participants the opportunity to join in on the action.

We had a great time at Data Centre World Asia in Singapore, together with our sister company Power Partners.

The event provided a valuable opportunity to reconnect with customers and partners, meet new people and have insightful conversations about the evolving needs of mission-critical power.

A special highlight was the Singapore launch of the PowerPRO3, bringing our next generation of dynamic UPS technology to Data Centre World Asia.

Our Product Marketing Manager Arnout Koelewijn outlines the basic principles of HITEC’s latest product development, the PowerPRO3, to judges at the Engineer & MARVEX event in Kuala Lumpur this week.

The judges found the design and performance of the PowerPRO3 to be both excellent and highly innovative, and it was selected as an Event Winner. We are proud to receive this great recognition for our next generation of Dynamic UPS technology and the advanced features that it offers.
