This week on the Victron blog, we have something a bit different. We would like to share the work of a Victron Energy enthusiast, Filip Mączyński, who has built an independent, non-profit website to guide beginner DIYers through the many choices of Victron Energy devices on the way to building their energy system.

Famously, we offer hundreds of products, allowing you to select devices that are perfectly suited to your planned build. Yet having so many devices to choose from can be overwhelming. Filip used an AI assistant to draw information together from many different Victron resources. His website, CPV24, which he built as a hobby, aims to tell you all you need to know about each model and to suggest the other devices it might be paired with as part of your system build, together with many other tools and features.

We love seeing these independent, non-profit, hobby projects and strongly encourage you to share your projects with us, whether it’s an interesting install, integration or automation using Victron Energy equipment, or a page like this that helps the community!

Last month, we were at Victron TechHub Germany 2026, which brought together more than 150 energy professionals from Germany, Austria and Switzerland for the first time, for a day dedicated to smart energy solutions.

We had a varied programme of live demos, workshops and technical talks, with opportunities to connect directly with other experts in the Victron community. Thanks to everyone who joined, and our partners: FlowFuse, Shelly_IoT, Ruuvi, OpenCamperCore and nets360.

This week on the Victron blog, we're heading to Cameroon, where four health facilities have received new hybrid solar power systems designed to keep essential healthcare services running when the electricity grid fails.

Thanks to a UNICEFCameroon programme investing in uninterrupted power, and the Cameroonian solar company Solarly Cameroun who designed and installed the power systems now serving the health facilities at Pitoa, Ngong, Touboro and Tcholliré, these hospitals now have reliable power.
