A trailer with new possibilities.

Vanclaes and Tectrax are developing the first self-driving boat trailer for the European market.

Built on a stainless steel chassis and operated via remote control, this new series of trailers gives operators a new way to rapidly launch and recover boats.

09/10/2026

Vanclaes is proud to announce the launch of a new project with Tectrax to develop and build self-driving and remote-operated boat launching trailers.

Designed for use by commercial and military operators, these trailers allow for the rapid deployment of boats from a beach or slipway whilst keeping the operator on land.

Dat was Workboat Show Hoorn! 🚤

The trailer at the end of this video was delivered by Vanclaes exactly 10 years ago!

Great to see that it is still in service today, doing such an important job. 💪

Thanks for the important work you guys do — and for putting our trailer to good use for all these years!

See you again next season!
