The best pool party of the year is back, and because it is our 50th anniversary, we are going to make it bigger and better than ever before!

During the Cannes Lions Festival, the Artbox Villa will host the iconic Young Meets Old party once again. An event designed to bridge the gap between generations - connecting the youth of the industry with the old heads. An event built for people to connect, share knowledge, and have some fun in the sun.

Sometimes the story behind artwork is even more important than the artwork itself - and it goes without saying that this is one of those cases - although the artwork is also pretty amazing.

created this illustration as well as mural to highlight the bitter truth that every eight days, a woman is murdered in the Netherlands, most often by a man, usually an ex-boyfriend or a husband.

Her work underscores the fact that far too often people question the female victim and her actions leading up to the event, while the real focus should be on the perpetrator and their actions. Women should feel free to travel without fear at night, without having to worry about where they go or what they wear.
