We don't need to talk to you about how needlessly awkward it is for your drivers to load and unload goods whille PVC curtains are getting in the way of them doing their job. BlueSeal air curtains fit all door types and configurations, and are built specifically for the vehicle they will be installed in. This means that we offer different bracket types, cable lengths and placements and units are custom-sized to your door aperture to ensure that it is built for the job in hand.

We do this because we know that an off-the-rack solution is nowhere near as effective as taking into consideration all of the variables of your door opening scenario and finding the most efficient setup to optimally handle this with your air curtain. We are yet to find a door type that BlueSeal cannot effectively cater for.

BlueSeal air curtains are proven to be the most effective way of maintaining cargo temperature during door openings. During this test, temperature was monitored simultanously in two trucks across five minute door openings and BlueSeal air curtains vastly outperformed PVC curtains throughout the cargo area. Diesel refrigeration systems have always been a grossly underlooked contributor to vehicle emissions in UK policy, with emission reduction targets mostly ignoring TRU emissions that can be disproportionally higher than the vehicles themselves. Considering that, according to research by Zemo, this contributes to roughly 590kt CO₂ a year over 40,000-55,000 TRU's on heavy goods vehicles alone - this is a clear oversight in properly regulating the harmful emissions from one of the biggest offenders (source - https://www.zemo.org.uk/assets/reports/HGV%20Auxiliary%20Engines%20Report%202024%20-%20Zemo%20Partnership.pdf).

We believe that this oversight will not last forever, and it's only a matter of time before companies are having to take a serious look at what they can do to reduce carbon emissions in their refrigeration systems. BlueSeal is proven to greatly reduce the cooling energy use in your vehicle by better maintaining cargo temperature during and after door openings. In one test by the Centre for Sustainable Energy Use in Food Chains, this amounted to an astounding 45% reduction in energy usage in their 18-tonne truck model.
