The foundation for battery passports in energy storage. 🔋

DENSO and TUV Rheinland Japan have successfully validated a battery passport for an energy storage product, using actual data from AESC’s energy storage batteries for the European market.

This milestone helps pave the way for future battery passport implementation and supports the transition toward more transparent battery value chains.

The industry needed a more efficient way to handle product information. 🔢

That challenge led DENSO to invent the QR Code in 1994, inspired by the needs from factories and production lines seeking faster, more effective data management.

The result was a technology capable of storing large amounts of data and enabling high-speed scanning that improved productivity and streamlined operations.
