In Part 1 of The AC Energy Era, Giorgio Chen, Founder, Chairman and CEO of ATMOCE, draws on 25 years of experience in power electronics and renewable energy to explore the architectural thinking behind Absolute Safety and Ultimate LCOE.

What a night in Iberia! 🌙✨

On 1 October, our ATMOCE Iberia team unveiled BattBank to customers, distributors, installers and EPC partners, marking a new milestone for ATMOCE in the region.

In the spotlight was the world’s first extra-low voltage AC stackable C&I battery:

🛡 Operating below 60 V for lower electrical risk and simpler safety
📦 Scaling from 1 to 7 modules per cluster, from 16 to 112 kWh
✅ Built with an IP66 rating and up to a 10-year warranty

🤝 A new partnership for the UK new-build market!

ATMOCE and Solfit have signed an exclusive partnership agreement for the UK housing market, creating a standardised AC renewable energy solution for housebuilders.

The partnership combines ATMOCE’s AC architecture, microinverters, battery storage and energy management technologies with Solfit’s roof-integrated solar platform and solution-led delivery model.

Together, the two companies are bringing roof integration, generation, storage, electrical architecture, certification, assurance and homeowner handover into one coordinated approach. Designed for delivery across sites and house types, it helps housebuilders prepare for the Future Homes Standard.

🔄 Don’t replace your solar. Upgrade it with ATMOCE.

This homeowner’s 12-year-old PV system was underperforming. The old microgeneration scheme no longer paid off, and a past outage had shown the need for backup power.

🌿 A Retrofit Story from Segrià, powered by ATMOCE.

In Segrià, Catalonia, José Ortiz, Technical Sales Manager at ATMOCE, visits a residential retrofit where the customer wanted to add batteries to an existing solar installation.

The upgrade responds to three practical needs:

🧩 Building on the Existing System
Battery storage was added to a system already running with a grid-tied inverter.

☀️ Reducing Reliance on Fuel
The customer wanted to use more of their own solar energy and reduce the fuel needed for heating.

🛡️ Maintaining Power During Grid Failure
Two ATMOCE batteries, each with 7 kWh of capacity and up to 4.5 kW of output power, provide backup capability when the grid goes down.
