A big shout-out to ILCORA Romania! 🚛

Their customer, Fiv Trans, has several impressive trucks and continues to choose high-quality printed and varnished side curtains.

Over the years, we’ve printed the curtains for Venom, Batman, Iron Man and most recently Black Panther, with ILCORA taking care of the confectioning.

These eye-catching trucks regularly participate in truck competitions and have already won several prizes — and we can see why! 🏆

Thanks to the ILCORA team for their trust and pleasant collaboration. You might just spot one of these trucks on the road one day!

Appointment – New Leadership at Printable (BHD Group)

Printable announces the appointment of Peter VAN RIEL as Managing Director, effective February 12, 2026.

He will ensure a transition period alongside Joop DONKERSLOOT, the company’s long-standing Managing Director, until his retirement, in order to guarantee strategic, industrial, and commercial continuity at Printable.

Peter brings recognized expertise in industrial digital printing, notably gained at Domino Printing Sciences, a company of the Brother Industries group.

A subsidiary of BHD Group, Printable specializes in technical textile printing through its patented SolidskinTec process — a benchmark technology for more than ten years among leading European trailer manufacturers and transport operators, recognized for its durability, mechanical strength, and visual quality.

Beyond the transport sector, this technology is also gaining ground in construction (textile façades, solar protection systems) and leisure & events (inflatable structures, sports equipment).
Under this new organization, Jelle VAN BEUSEKOM will support Peter in driving the company’s commercial development.

This appointment represents a key milestone in strengthening Printable’s European positioning in the technical printed textiles market.

Recently, Printable Technical Textiles had the honor of producing several longlife banners for the Pope John Paul II National Shrine in Washington DC, USA on behalf of our valued partner DCL - Design Communications Ltd. This over 100m2 banner was part of the assignment.

Our printing process with unique 10-year unlimited warranty on color retention, amongst others, was an important reason for DCL to have us print this permanent banner. We used the Mehler Texnologies Poly Opak 8596 PrinTent membrane to ensure the longevity of both our print and the material itself.

DCL has long been an important partner for us. Another project we have had the pleasure of printing for them is "The Conversation"; the artwork that serves as a fabric facade at the PUMA North America HQ near Boston. We even won a Silver FESPA Award in the roll-to-roll printed textiles for this project in 2023. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/e6JbM_dz

Seeing our colleagues at Printable Technical Textiles fully engaged and going the extra mile for our clients, can only make us proud and thankful!

See here for example. "Just" printing a color sample...that's not done at the press of a button! Our team understands the importance of correct colors on projects where matching colors are highly valued, so we take a color sample very seriously.

Before the final color sample is produced and delivered to the client, we go through several steps; from several small scale test prints, to color checks in both artificial and natural daylight. Also in this case when a project involves 50 critical colors!

Thanks Jelle, Arjan, Twan, Dennis, Kevin, Asib, Dante, Dick, Lois, Sylvia & Esther for picking up this (not to be underestimated) step of our printing process for our clients with so much passion!
