Congratulations to our friends and partners at HDI on marking an incredible milestone. From world records to remarkable human achievements, HDI continues to inspire us in the HDD industry through its pioneering spirit and commitment to pushing boundaries.
It was an honour to be part of this memorable occasion at the foot of the Sacré-Cœur.

Dual Crossings, One Project – HDD in Pojuca, Brazil

Delivering Gas Infrastructure Beneath a River and a Railway

Prime Horizontal is proud to support critical gas infrastructure with two successful HDD crossings in Pojuca, Bahia, Brazil – executed with precision using ParaTrack2 guidance.

1) Rio Jacuipe River Crossing
• 398 m at 14–15 m depth
• S-type curve (716 m & 743 m radii)
• 16” steel pipe installed via jetting through sandy sediments
• Completed parallel to a main road

2) Ferrovia Railroad Crossing
• 421 m at 16.13 m depth
• Combined radius 621 m (Hz 700 m / Vert 1350 m)
• 16” steel pipe installed using jetting & mud motor, with casing run
• Ground conditions: soft sand, hard clay & rock beneath the railroad

The teams worked through challenging ground conditions to deliver a smooth ex*****on — ensuring safe and efficient gas transport beneath both a river and a railway.
