Since its foundation in 1992, Mavé has specialized itself in the development of custom made HVAC systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) for the maritime sector, from sailing boats to super yachts and from workboats to military vessels, as well as for other industries. During the more than 20 years of experience, Mavé has grown substantially and in 2013 it had outgrown its first location.
Now the company is centrally located in The Netherlands, in Biddinghuizen. Mavé has become specialized in developing, manufacturing and delivering custom made HVAC solutions under the product names MAR-IX and IND-IX. We offer a wide range of products varying from chiller units to electric heating systems and from fresh air units to defroster units. Mavé can deliver these systems in all kinds of capacities; from small to large systems and even systems with a different power supply, if requested. Mavé has its own Design & Engineering department, where we use professional 3D graphics design software. The designs we create are energy-efficient and durable, with an eye for detail, but we also ensure that each unit is easily serviceable once installed. Our engineers and designers like to think along with our customers, both ship-builders and end users. Within our own modern production facility we can manufacture and test each system extensively and completely independently; we can control the entire production process. Accurate project management and a precise production planning ensure the achievement of on time deliveries. Because of our experience in developing for and delivery to exclusive shipyards, we are well aware of the extreme demands that a HVAC system can be exposed to.
