Cinnamon rolls require careful handling when baked on baking paper or in trays. Deformation or incorrect placement is immediately noticeable. This video shows a fully automated process where a Rademaker robotic pick-and-place system arranges the products in various patterns, ensuring a consistent presentation.

Additionally, smart in-line Vision quality control is in operation.

A soft texture, a rich filling with an extra layer of raisins, and a spiral shape - today we’re going to talk about swirls 🌀

Here’s one way to make them on the Radini Pastry Make-Up Line. We start with a sheet of dough on the laminator. The filling is then applied and spread evenly across the entire width. Raisins are added using a strewer to ensure even distribution. The dough sheet is then rolled out using a conical roller and cut into rolls using a guillotine.

Want to vary the result? Change the filling, the thickness of the rolls, or add a manual finishing step to create your own signature shape.
