🇬🇧You are not just looking at stacks of logs. You are looking at the start of our production process.🌳
Every week, approximately 70 truckloads of logs arrive at Klein Kromhof. Most of the wood comes from the Netherlands and Germany. Part consists of residual streams from wood processors. Another part becomes available through necessary forest management, for example when dense woodland is thinned to create space for young growth.🌿
We give this wood a new purpose. The logs are shaved and then processed step by step into Extreme Volume Woodshavings.
This weeks, we follow the entire route: from log to shaving, from drying and separation to pressing, packaging and ultimately the stable.

🇳🇱Je kijkt niet alleen naar boomstammen. Je kijkt naar het begin van ons productieproces.🌳
Iedere week komen er bij Klein Kromhof circa 70 vrachtwagens met boomstammen binnen. Het hout komt vooral uit Nederland en Duitsland. Een deel komt uit reststromen van houtverwerkers. Een ander deel komt vrij bij noodzakelijk bosbeheer, bijvoorbeeld wanneer een bos wordt uitgedund om te dichte groei te voorkomen en ruimte te geven aan jonge aanwas.🌿
Wij geven dit hout een nieuwe bestemming. De stammen worden geschaafd en daarna stap voor stap verwerkt tot Extreme Volume Woodshavings.
De komende tijd volgen we de hele route: van boomstam naar krul, van drogen en scheiden naar persen, verpakken en uiteindelijk de stal.
