Biennial symposium to enhance interaction between students and companies active in the geothermal energy sector

The DAP Symposium has its origin in the Delft Aardwarmte Project (DAP), which has been initiated by students and alumni at the Department of Geoscience & Engineering at Delft University of Technology. DAP aims to provide the TU Delft with a sustainable heat source through the realisation of geothermal wells located near the campus. Furthermore, DAP seeks to promote the general use of geothermal en

ergy for heating and energy production by generating and disseminating knowledge on the topic, and, in addition, the wells are subject of research, education and development. On 15 March 2017 the 5th biennial DAP Symposium will take place at the Mekelzaal in Delft. At the symposium, the latest developments of geothermal energy will be discussed by speakers from all over the world.
