Delft Hyperloop Demonstration Day

students will present their prototype on 11 June 2024 at 18:00 at their test site next to the Dream Hall at TU Delft.

During this event, the team will not only unveil their prototype but also present three studies. These explore the scalability of the hyperloop concept. The studies include technical, socio-economic, and design aspects, including integration with aviation. The students are pushing transport boundaries with a hyperloop that can reach up to 1000 km/hour speeds. A spectacular runway change demonstration will be a highlight.

Sinterklaas already paid us a visit! We got to unpack brand new furniture to decorate the redesigned entrance of the TU Delft | Dream Hall.

Over the last month, our main entrance has been renewed to promote collaboration for everyone working at or visiting the Dream Hall. Engagement is one of the TU Delft’s core values, and our new entrance encourages Dream Teams and Dream Hall staff to engage with guests in the best way possible.

The modern decor and increased seating makes the Dream Hall an even more welcoming place. We hope to greet you all at our new entrance soon!

TU Delft Hydro Motion Team | Boat Reveal
Register now to visit the event on Monday the 8th of May!

As a team they took on a huge challenge at the start of this year: showing that it is possible to build a flying hydrogen powered boat in just one year in order to move the maritime industry to a more sustainable world. For months, they have been working hard on producing and assembling every part to make the design of their innovative, next-level boat come to life.

On the 8th of May they will finally reveal their boat to the world and they are thrilled to invite you to celebrate this meaningful moment with them!

TU Delft | Dream Hall High Tech Media Day

On Wednesday, March 29th, the TU Delft Dream Hall hosted the High Tech Media Day in collaboration with En Serio. Several journalists from various media outlets visites to meet with the five Dream Teams.

We kicked off with an introduction to the Dream Hall and pitches from each team about their project. Then, the teams had a series of interviews, where they shared their passion, goals, and projects with the journalists.
So of the interviews can already be found online.

Everybody enjoyed the day very much. We hope we can continue this yearly!

They would like to invite you to the Design Presentation of the TU Delft Hydro Motion Team on Wednesday 21st December 19.00 at the TU Delft Aula Congress Centre!

In August, they as a team took on a huge challenge: becoming world champions with a foiling hydrogen-powered boat fully designed, built and tested in just one year. With this showing the opportunities and initiating action in the maritime industry to tackle today’s and future climate challenges. Over the past months, they have been working hard on the first step to realising this dream: the design of our boat.

On Wednesday 21st December, they will present to you the design of the boat of the 2023 team, with which they are going to accomplish our goal.

All good things must come to an end... 😢

COVID-19 and major changes in the hall have put and end to our communications team. This means that we will not keep you up to date via social media until a new team has started. This does however not mean that our D:DREAM teams are inactive. They are working harder than ever to achieve their goals 💪🏆

We hope that starting from September new colleagues will again share all the adventures off the D:DREAM teams with you, but until then you can follow them first hand through their own social channels below! 🤩
We hope you enjoyed following us as much as we enjoyed our job of keeping you up to date. We wish the teams all the best with these challenging times, but we are certain their resillience will keep them going. New and exciting times are coming for the D:DREAM hall as big changes are being made, so keep following us and the teams to see what the new hall will look like. 😊

The Project MARCH team revealed their latest exoskeleton! Last week they successfully completed a full Cybathlon run for the first time! The exoskeleton will hopefully proof itself again soon during the postponed Cybathlon. 👩‍🦽💪
