Operating in one of the most demanding environments requires equipment designed for reliability and performance. PAT-Krüger has successfully commissioned a DS130 IP66 safety and control system on a specially engineered crane operating in a salt mine at a depth of 500 metres below ground level.

The installation was developed to withstand the harsh underground conditions where dust, moisture, vibration, and continuous operation place high demands on control systems. The DS130 platform offers a robust IP66/67-rated solution, providing reliable machine control and monitoring in challenging industrial environments.

𝗠𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 - Some heroes stay behind the scenes… or in the mirror. While working on this Demag TC 1100, one of our well-known colleagues carried out an exchange board replacement to give this trusted crane a fresh new chapter. With the DS350 KD system back in action, this old lady is ready for many more years in the field. The question is… who’s the man in the mirror? 😉

Job completed: installation of new load pins on an 11-ton Figee grabber crane. The upgrade was executed in Velsen-Noord, focusing on reliable force measurement and integration within the existing crane system. The newly installed load pins provide accurate load monitoring, supporting safe and controlled operation under varying conditions.
