The SeaMar Group (SeaMar) is pleased to announce that we secured a new long-term contract with Eni Energy Netherlands B.V. (Eni) for its Diving Support Vessel (DSV) SeaMar Splendid. The contract will start on the 2nd of March 2026, reinforcing the strong and enduring partnership between the two companies.

This agreement marks a significant milestone, as the vessel has been continuously deployed for this Client since 2009. The upcoming contract period will see the DSV SeaMar Splendid continue to support Eni’s Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM) activities on the Dutch Continental Shelf, in line with previous campaigns. As part of the new charter, SeaMar will implement a comprehensive upgrade program to further enhance the vessel’s performance, sustainability profile and onboard living conditions. The focus will be on reducing the environmental impact, improving operational efficiency and reliability and enhancing comfort.

With this new contract commencing in 2026, the SeaMar Splendid will have supported Eni’s IRM campaigns for well over a decade and a half. To the crews at sea, working day and night and our onshore teams in procurement, logistics, agency, technical management and in the back office: 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨! Your dedication, professionalism and teamwork keep our operations safe, reliable and moving forward every single day. You are the steady force behind everything we do and the reason we continue to deliver, even in challenging conditions.

At the start of this year, we set a new heading. As the direction evolved, our course has remained steady guided by our focus on safe, reliable operations and long-term partnerships across the maritime and offshore energy sector. We recently said farewell to our colleague Henk Visser, who has been with SeaMar since day one.

As Chief Engineer on board the m/v Inspector and m/v SeaMar Splendid, Henk showed dedication, craftsmanship and team spirit, always in close cooperation with both his crew and our office teams.

As he now sets sail into retirement, we look back with gratitude on his dedication and craftsmanship.

Thank you Henk for all your hard work and commitment. We wish you every success on this new course!
