Nestled in Deventer lies the Oxerhof Estate, once a witness to war, now a sanctuary of peace and a beacon of sustainability. True to this spirit, the Foundation launched a bold green transition: replacing its costly, aging gas heating system with clean solar energy.
But the estate’s ancient trees and dense shrubs posed a challenge. Conventional wisdom says shading compromises efficiency. Integrating a modern PV system without disturbing this delicate ecosystem seemed nearly impossible.
