Seeing the final B3 GT and B4 GT leave the production line at BMW Munich is a moment that deserves recognition. Not just for the cars themselves, but for the heritage, engineering philosophy and people behind them.

What a story. What a legacy.

𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗿𝗮: ALPINA bids farewell to its most successful model range in 60 years of history, and with it, to the BMW plant in Munich.

Saying goodbye can hurt. Especially when it involves 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝗵𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆. Together, we are in the EOP phase. However, the ALPINA production stop in the German state doesn't mean the end of high-end turbo technology from the Netherlands.

At Tachyon Engineering, we are 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 of the 6-cylinder ALPINA's. Models known for their power and refinement. For their speed and smoothness. Cars that set new standards in their class. Offered to a select group, loved by many for their combination of characterful and subtle distinction, united with comfortable performance and timeless quality.

On to the next chapter, building towards beautiful, unforgettable years in the niche sports car market. Filled with high-end turbo technology.

Wishing all glasses are full at Christmas and a powerful New Year.

We’re ready to put our foot down. Only this time it’s not on the throttle. Tachyon Engineering is closing doors from December 24th until January 2nd.

Give us a break. While having drinks, don’t stop talking turbos. Because that, and other awesome engineering will give you the power and speed to make 2026 a blast. See you then!
