𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻... 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗯 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘁.😉

This year’s Buffelrun in Boerdonk gave a group of Nobleans twelve kilometres to put that theory into practice! Some obstacles called for strength, others for persistence, but they all had one thing in common: none of them showed much respect for clean clothes.

Our Nobleans crossed the finish wet and tired, but still smiling. And judging by the amount of mud they got the full Buffelrun experience...

𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗡𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗼 🫕

A few years ago, a group of our South African Nobleans decided to share something from home: the braai. Since then, it has become a tradition that returns every summer. And the smell of a South African braai filled the parking lot once again!

It is wonderful to see our Nobleans sharing a part of their culture that means a lot to them and inviting everyone else to be part of it. Moments like these bring us even closer as a team.

Thank you to everyone who kept the fire going and made this year's braai another memorable evening!

The last quarterly meeting was about more than business updates and quarterly figures. It was also about recognising the colleagues who help shape Nobleo every day.

Every two years, all Nobleans vote for the colleagues who best represent our values: passion, entrepreneurial spirit, building relations and knowledge. No nominations or jury. Just recognition from the people who work alongside you.

🏅 Congratulations to Jerrel Unkel, Ruud Van der Aalst, JP Potgieter and Geert Middel on receiving this year’s awards! Well-deserved recognition from your fellow Nobleans.

After the awards were handed out and the presentations finished (we even had a surprise evacuation drill in between) we ended the evening with time to catch up informally. A great way to connect with colleagues you don't work with every day!

Recently, eight new colleagues joined Nobleo. Last last week they came together for our Welcome Day.

During the afternoon presentations & games gave them a closer look at Nobleo, from the work we do to the people behind it. Not just understanding what we do, but also experiencing who we are. In the evening, we continued over dinner, with good food and easy conversations to get to know each other better.

𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗧𝗼𝗸𝘆𝗼: 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘀

Yesterday we attended Brabant Innovation Day 2026 in Tokyo, where Dutch and Japanese organisations come together to explore how semiconductors, photonics and high-tech manufacturing are shaping next-generation computing.

The shared challenge is clear: how do we move faster from promising research to reliable, scalable products? Progress in these advanced technology sectors does not happen in isolation. It depends on ecosystems that share knowledge, build trust and create what no single organisation can do alone.

Yesterday's programme focused on turning technical potential into practical application, covering topics from integrated photonics and advanced semiconductor technology to pilot lines, industrial deployment, process optimisation and reliability.

Frank Sperling presented Nobleo Technology and our expertise to the audience and joined a panel discussion on AI in engineering. With the time difference, he has already taken the stage in Tokyo. This Thursday, Frank will also deliver a presentation on the Nobleo PVIT Tool at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Tokyo.

Developing robotics and autonomous systems means dealing with complexity early in the process. Robots need to operate reliably in environments that are difficult, costly or unsafe to fully recreate during physical testing. That is why it is important to investigate behaviour, scenarios and risks earlier in the development process. This is where simulation comes in. Not as a standalone tool, but as part of a broader development approach and the physical engineering challenges behind it.

In our latest article, Bram Odrosslij Robotics & AI Engineer at Nobleo, explains how we use NVIDIA Isaac Sim to support robotics development, from digital twins and sensor modelling to synthetic data generation and virtual test environments.

From flying above to driving on the surface, the AIRTuB project is taking autonomy in offshore wind maintenance to the next level!

After successful flight and crawler tests, the next step is integration: combining drone, crawler, and sensor systems into one coordinated autonomous platform for wind turbine blade inspection.

Nobleo’s focus lies in developing the autonomy software that connects everything, from localisation and navigation to sensor fusion. By merging GNSS, IMU, and lidar data, the system can position itself with high precision, both in the air and on the blade.
Together with our partners Terra Inspectioneering B.V. , NLR - Netherlands Aerospace Centre, Avular and World Class Maintenance, we’re shaping a future where offshore maintenance and drone-based inspection for offshore platforms becomes safer, smarter, and more efficient.
