🚀 A major milestone for Skeleton Technologies - and for Europe’s high-power battery landscape.

Today, Skeleton Technologies inaugurated its new SuperBattery factory in Varkaus, Finland:
- Europe’s first facility producing high-power batteries for AI data centres,
- Producing one gigawatt of battery power for AI data centres and other critical sectors,
- A significant boost to Europe’s technological resilience and advanced manufacturing.

As a long-standing portfolio company, we are proud to see Skeleton reach this new level of industrialisation - strengthening Europe’s position in high-power energy storage and supporting fast-growing segments such as AI, grid stability, mobility, and defence.

Good morning from Lisbon – TBB2025 is underway!
Our annual Business Booster brings together great minds to meet and connect and get clean tech deals done.

Thank you to João Rui Ferreira, Secretary of State for the Economy in Portugal, for officially opening the 13th edition, underlining the vital role of European clean tech as a growth driver for Portugal and beyond.

We were also honoured to hear from Ekaterina Zaharieva, European Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation, who set the tone in her video address by outlining Europe’s dual climate and industry ambitions, recognising InnoEnergy as a true engine of transformation for Europe’s energy sectors.
