Today, our colleagues Antoine El Khoury, Brian van Hooff and Sunny Sidhu welcomed many poultry professionals, customers, dealers and partners to Stand A27 during the first day of Middle East Poultry Expo 2026 in Riyadh.

It was a successful first day, with strong interest in the poultry housing systems and innovative poultry farming solutions offered by VDL Agrotech and VDL Jansen. We had many valuable conversations about creating efficient, reliable and sustainable poultry operations and were pleased to showcase how our systems can contribute to the success of poultry producers worldwide.

During September 2026, our colleague Sunny Sidhu participated in the Bel Ga Asia Roadshow, a series of poultry seminars held across Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar.

As part of the roadshow, Sunny shared his expertise during the seminar “How to Optimize the Performance of Your Poultry Flock”, contributing valuable insights and practical knowledge to poultry farmers, industry partners and technical professionals throughout the region.

The roadshow brought together hundreds of poultry professionals and created an excellent platform for knowledge sharing, technical discussions and stronger industry connections. Events like these play an important role in supporting the continuous development of efficient and sustainable poultry production across Asia.

The Chainovation chain feeding system has been developed in close collaboration with poultry breeding organizations and is known for its high level of reliability. The system distributes feed through the trough at different speeds (up to 3000 kg/hour), ensuring that nearly all birds can access the feed at the same time. This helps reduce stress within the poultry house while supporting overall animal welfare and health. It also limits selective eating behaviour, reduces feed waste, and provides improved control and sorting options.

𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 – 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗜𝗩 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 🐔
VDL Agrotech and VDL Jansen have recently completed a new project in the Netherlands: a broiler breeder house fully equipped with VDL systems. The house features two rows of Premium+ laying nests, chain feeding systems for hens with Chainovation, and a Matrix feeding system for males. It also includes a feed transport system from the silo to the hopper, drinking lines, and an advanced manure solution: the EMS system. This eliminates the need for a traditional manure pit. The EMS system includes a manure belt beneath the slats, which can be rolled up frequently. Regular removal of manure reduces the build-up of ammonia and fine dust.
