Through our dealer CERTA CHILE S.A, we installed a complete solution starting with a multihead weigher and semi-automatic bagging system at Agro Panquehue in early 2024. After a strong season, the line was expanded with a fully automatic palletizer and wrapper.

Previously, everything was packed manually, making the process heavily dependent on reliable workers. Today, 20 kg yellow onions are packed in mesh bags, efficiently stacked, and prepared for shipment to North and South America and Europe.

The result: less labour, higher efficiency, and smooth operation even during peak season. Great to see the system running to the customer’s satisfaction during our recent visit.

Together with our dealer APH Group Polska, we recently completed a nice installation at our customer in Poland. For this project, we supplied a MD10 XXL multihead weigher for the accurate weighing of celeriac. Below the weigher, a box filling machine automatically fills the 10 kg cardboard boxes, creating an efficient and reliable packing process.

Thanks to its robust construction, extra heavy-duty components, and enlarged drop hoppers, the MD10 XXL is perfectly suited for large products such as celeriac. The large openings ensure smooth product flow while maintaining excellent weighing accuracy.

South Africa is clearly on the move when it comes to packaging automation. Together with our dealer Uniekum Landbou Masjiene, we recently visited several customers and saw first-hand how fast the market is evolving. The traditional focus on 7–10 kg paper packs is shifting toward smaller formats (1–4 kg), driven by supermarket demand and a growing emphasis on sustainability.

This transition creates strong opportunities for flexible and efficient solutions. Our Paper Bagger and MoNo Clipper are a perfect fit for this development, offering efficient paper packaging and recyclable mono-material net solutions. We also see increasing demand for space-efficient palletizing systems like the ST8.

Together with our Indian partner Allround Vegetable Processing Machines, we delivered two new lines to Balaji Wafers in , India. 🇮🇳🥔

With two M2 XXL weighers and two SemiPack machines, potatoes are now packed semi-automatically into 50 kg net bags, boosting efficiency, consistency, and reducing manual labor.

An integrated Allround Shake Grader ensures seamless grading and feeding of the line, creating a fully streamlined process.

Over the past few weeks, several student groups from the International Business programme at NHL Stenden Hogeschool University of Applied Sciences have conducted research into the potential for Manter to do business in African countries. 🌍

Sijbrand and Ilona have reviewed the presentations and recommendations, many thanks to all participating students for their effort, insights, and professional approach.

We greatly appreciate the fresh perspectives and well-developed analyses, and we will now work on exploring the opportunities these findings may offer for Manter.

Willem and Tjebbe joined Ocean Systems, our new Polish dealer, at the Warsaw Pack in Poland (April 14–16). At the exhibition, we are showcasing the M10i D, a versatile multihead weigher designed for a wide range of vegetables and fruits, with a weight range of 0,25 - 10 kg and capable of reaching speeds of up to 55 drops per minute.
