Tropical temperatures, so time for a delicious ice cream from Bas IJs&zo! A lot of colleagues came by to get a refreshment, and we have raised 450 Euros for our VMI Ventoux3 event.

Drakenbootfestival | VMI Mix Shines Back on the Water in Apeldoorn

What a weekend in Apeldoorn and what an even more incredible experience the second time around for VMI! With the sun blazing and temperatures soaring past 30°C, our VMI Mix team jumped back into the company races with huge energy and great enthusiasm.

We’re proud to share that we won two out of three heats again! Even though we just missed out on a spot in the semifinals, the vibe, teamwork, and spirit were absolutely great. In the end, VMI finished 14th out of 54 - a fantastic result and an awesome way to keep putting the VMI name on the map and connecting with the crowd.

A big thank you to everyone who supported us cheering, paddling, and bringing the spirit that made the whole weekend so memorable. After a second time like this… who knows what 2027 might bring?

Jubilee Celebration Q2 | 19 June

Friday 19 June we had the pleasure of recognizing a wonderful milestone: 11 colleagues were honored to celebrate their jubilee. One colleague achieved an impressive 40 years with VMI, and we also marked the retirement of three colleagues as they begin their next chapter.

Jumborun2026 Treadmill Challenge at VMI

On April 14th, VMI participated in the for the first time with the Treadmill Challenge at VMI in Epe 🏃🏃
From 8:00 to 16:00 our two treadmills ran non-stop. Colleagues walked and ran in shifts, while others provided encouragement. Sausage sandwiches were also sold in order to raise money for young people who are struggling with mental problems. Together, VMI raised a nice amount for this charity. Sport, solidarity and vitality in the workplace in one action.

VMI opened its doors for Girlsday | 14 April 2026! 🎓🔧

A group of enthusiastic girls from the Sprengenbeek College in Epe got a behind-the-scenes look at our production facilities and warehouse, discovered our high-tech machines, and learned more about technology through interactive games and a Kahoot quiz.

At VMI, we believe it’s important to show girls that a modern industrial company offers plenty of opportunities for their talents – from engineering and IT to logistics and production.

Innovation… embedded in our DNA in India

On April 7th, VMI organized an Innovations seminar at its India facility. Attended by over 40 professionals from the Indian tire industry, the full day program focused on new innovative features in tire building and services. Also included was a tour of the VMI Services India facility, showing our Drum Center, 24/7 Helpdesk and Engineering capabilities. At the end of the day, Marcel Berkers and Mitesh Patel, together with all customers, planted a tree. All participants very much appreciated the presentations, tour and networking opportunities.

Het Makersfestival Zwolle, daar moet je bij zijn. Als je een beetje nieuwsgierig bent ingesteld tenminste. Voor denkers, doeners en uitvinders van 8 tot 88+ is er van alles te beleven op het gebied van techniek, technologie, hightech en innovatie. VMI is ook dit jaar weer present.

Ga zelf bouwen, smeden, lassen, elektriciteit aansluiten, robots leren kennen en grappige uitvindingen ontdekken. 🚀💻🤖⚙️🕹️
