Big news! MPS, in collaboration with Embraer, launched its new -Jet simulator product line today.

MPS CEO Philip Adrian says: “This is a project that has been long in the making. An addition to our product line is extremely rare as there are numerous and significant factors which contribute to launching a new simulator type. The introduction of E-Jet simulators truly reflects team collaboration, dedication to innovation and excellence in the field and an understanding of what our customers want and need. We look forward to the positive impact MPS E-Jet simulators will have on our clients and the aviation industry.”

This extension of the MPS product line will allow operators to consider MPS for a broader range of training needs, filling the gap for high quality training in an ever-changing aviation landscape. Both the E1 and E2 narrow-body regional jets will be available as a fixed-based simulator option with the same FSTD capability signature as existing MPS Boeing and Airbus simulators.

MPS has established a partnership with Sim Ops, based in Malaysia, to provide sales support to MPS prospects in the Asian region. Sim Ops has an extensive knowledge of the training industry, with many decades of combined experience and expertise within its team. Through this additional representation, MPS customers in the Asian region will benefit from more in-depth relationship management and a streamlined sales process that aims to foster closer relationships built on mutual success.

MPS has been awarded a contract by Riyadh Air | طيران الرياض for an A321neo FTD-2. The simulator will be delivered to Riyadh Air to prepare its pilots for the arrival of the A321neo aircraft arriving in Q4 2026. The MPS A321neo FTD-2 will comply with Airbus Standard 3.0.

MPS has successfully installed and formally handed over an A320 FTD Level 5 to Peach Aviation Limited (Peach), a leading Japanese airline. The is located at the Kansai International Airport in Osaka, Japan and will be utilized by Peach flight crews for captain upgrade training. The purchase of the MPS simulator was supported by ANA Trading Co., LTD.

MPS has been awarded a by Air Arabia for a ceo/neo convertible A320 FTD-2. The simulator will be delivered to a brand-new training center currently under construction for Air Arabia Academy, formerly T3 Aviation Academy, in Sharjah, U.A.E. The company already operates another MPS A320 FTD-2, previously owned and operated by T3 Aviation Academy.

Implementing new regulations takes years of focused teamwork, a process MPS CEO Philip Adrian is heavily involved in and committed to. Although it has been a while since we last updated you on EASA Rulemaking Task 0196, many important steps towards finalization have taken place since publication of NPA 2020-15 in December of 2020. A Focused Consultation just took place last month, so in this blog, Philip will bring you up to speed on developments and give some further insight into the process.
