From the terrace of a beautiful villa, the residents experience a significant mental distance to the garden due to a height difference of almost three meters.
As a result, the garden is used (far) too little. By building a Poolhouse at the back of the garden near the swimming pool, this threshold is lowered.
The Poolhouse consists of a layered roof supported by two volumes, creating an enclosed environment between them, with large sliding doors on both sides. When both sliding doors are fully open, the pavilion becomes integrated into the garden.
