Work hard, play hard!
The realization team at DG press is currently hard at work assembling and starting-up a new DG-AUXO 1085. Bringing a machine like this to life takes technical expertise, close collaboration and dedication. Those are the qualities that enable us to deliver successful installations and reliable solutions for our customers around the world.

But strong teams are built outside the workplace as well. Recently, the team swapped the workshop for the go-kart track, competing for the 2026 championship title. The competition was fierce, the overtakes were daring, but the racing remained fair, respectful and collegial throughout.

An afternoon like this strengthens the trust and teamwork that our customers rely on every day. Because when colleagues know each other well and enjoy working together, it shows in every project.

Delivery of second hybrid web offset press to Group Joos successfully completed!
DG press has recently successfully completed the installation and commissioning of a second VSOP press at Group Joos.

DG press has supplied a second variable-format web offset press, type VSOP, to Group Joos in Turnhout, Belgium. Due to the expansion of their product portfolio, Group Joos was looking for a web offset press with several specific features.

As technology partner and preferred supplier to Group Joos, the DG press team is very familiar with Group Joos’ requirements and way of working. A second hybrid web offset press with DG press’s variable sleeve technology was therefore a logical choice.

Following the successful completion of several tests on an existing machine, a suitable hybrid web offset press configuration for the new products was defined and supplied. The term “hybrid” refers to the combination of different printing techniques within a single machine.

This hybrid web offset press is designed for printing on heavier substrates, including PE-coated board grades. The two-sided printed web is slit inline into multiple lanes before being wound. As a result, the produced reels do not require offline processing on a slitter rewinder but are immediately ready for use in their customer’s process.

After a smooth installation and successful acceptance, the press was immediately put into operation by Group Joos for the new products.

The VSOP press shown in the image has a different configuration than the press installed at Group Joos.

Exciting news!
Assembly of the first modules for a new DG-AUXO 1085 hybrid web offset press has started at our facility in Hall, the Netherlands.

Our mechanical team has begun assembling the supporting modules, including the unwinder, rewinder, and the infeed and outfeed sections. Components are arriving daily at our headquarters, and over the coming weeks assembly of the printing units will commence. The press, including all OEM modules, is scheduled to be ready for printing in Q4 2026.

The DG-AUXO 1085 featured in this project is a new long-repeat variant within the DG-AUXO product range, building on the proven DG-AUXO platform. It is designed for a maximum web width of 1085 mm and offers a variable print repeat length from 660 mm (26") to 1016 mm (40"), making it an ideal solution for printing B1 sheets in both machine and cross direction for the pharmaceutical market.

The broader DG-AUXO family also includes the standard DG-AUXO 1085, DG-AUXO 900, and DG-AUXO 520. These models are available with variable print repeat lengths ranging from 406 mm (16") to 762 mm (30"), providing a versatile platform for a wide range of printing applications.

From the 7th till the 13th of May 2026, Interpack, the international trade fair for packaging, opens its doors in Düsseldorf! Interpack is the largest packaging trade fair worldwide, attracting around 2,700 exhibitors and approximately 170,000 visitors from across the globe.
