At the end of May we were at Vanlife Festival UK 2026, one of the biggest van life and overlanding gatherings in the UK, held at West Mid Showground in Shrewsbury!
The atmosphere was incredible — live music, stunning builds on display, workshops, and a real sense of community across the whole weekend.
We were there alongside some brilliant names from the UK van life and off-grid world — BMS Technologies, Conversion Virgins, Split Charge, Tiny Build Electrics, Energy Monkey, Blue Fix, and Van Life Eats — hosting technical sessions and sharing knowledge with the community. And the builds? Absolutely next level — with display vehicles travelling from as far as Spain just to be there.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, attended a talk, or just came for a chat. A huge thank you also to everyone who brought their builds along to display — your vehicles were the heart of the show. It was great to connect with so many passionate people in one place.

Last weekend we were at Betoeterd, the biggest van life and camper meeting in the Netherlands, with over 400 campervans!

The atmosphere was fantastic, with live music and jam sessions, workshops, markets, and activities for all. We were there alongside Vanlife Platform, Jakota, Verbeca, and Camptronics, hosting a technical workshop and sharing knowledge with the community.

This week on the Victron blog, we are heading to South Australia, to the barren lands of a remote sheep station on the Nullarbor, where, until recently, water provision across the property relied on a variety of pumping arrangements that required station staff to visit and check water points in 118 paddocks along 380km of tracks, working in harsh conditions.

They were looking for a way to reduce the need for physical inspections at remote bore and reservoir tank sites. This is where off-grid energy specialist MyEnergy Engineering came in, not only implementing renewable energy, but also ushering in a new era of remote communication and control, providing real-time tank-level information and pump operation from afar.

Today we have been awarded Bronze at the 47th Annual Telly Awards for the Victron Energy 50th YouTube film!

We were up against the likes of Warner Bros, Phillips, The Walt Disney Company and Flicker for the General-Documentary: Short Form (Under 40 minutes) category.
