The Seafood Global Expo in Barcelona is coming up! Alltech Coppens and Alltech Fennoaqua will be there from 21–23 April at an engaging stand focused on all things aquaculture.

Two weeks ago, Xander de Boer, Ruben Groot and John van Dooren visited Azerbaijan, where they met with representatives of our partner Azerbaijan Fish Farm (AZFF) and toured the sturgeon farm located in Neftçala.
At this modern facility, the team visited the hatchery and ongrowing systems and observed the wintering system, where the fish are carefully prepared to produce high quality caviar.

In that week, a seminar was organised for a large group of fish farmers and government officials. Topics included feed, feed management, and feed production, with a strong focus on sustainability—an increasingly important subject for both producers and their customers.
We would like to thank Azerbaijan Fish Farm (AZFF) for the hospitality and the valuable exchange of knowledge.

At Alltech Coppens, sustainability is something we talk about a lot – especially when it comes to aquaculture.
But increasingly, we’re asking ourselves another question: what does sustainability mean for the people behind the work?

For us, “Green HR” isn’t about buzzwords. It’s about long term thinking. About investing in people, creating stable working environments, and supporting growth instead of constant replacement.
Because sustainable organisations are built when people feel supported, valued, and able to grow.

In the first week of March, our colleagues Gijs Rutjes and John van Dooren visited several fish farms in northern Poland. After a long and genuine winter period, farmers are now preparing for the arrival of spring.
Despite the prolonged low temperatures, the fish fed with Alltech Coppens feed were in excellent condition. During the farm visits, valuable discussions took place with farmers, and highlighted the Boost concept as a practical solution to help support fish health and combat parasite challenges.

Polish fish farming is a well developed industry with highly skilled professionals. With a broad portfolio of high quality feeds, Alltech Coppens supports farmers operating under diverse farming conditions and production systems.
