We do many tests to make sure our batteries are reliable and durable for the toughest of applications. Super B engineers construct the battery around the cell and this includes a very rigid casing that features several designs which offer failsafe options should something go wrong. Super B batteries also boast high-tech electronics and an advanced BMS. For our latest battery, we have filed for more than 10 patents and they all cover very innovative things – including the unique casing – something other battery systems don’t have. We have a new solution called adaptive balancing that enables the balancing of the cells internally in an adaptive manner. We adjust the battery currents according to the charge and discharge cycle. Other brands do one-size–fits all, they either balance or they don’t balance, but ours is much more flexible and adaptive. The Super B BMS approach results in far less wear and tear, and less heat being generated from within the battery pack. Miranda shares why she's at BGB getting a Super B battery installed. Last camping trip, she thought her old lead acid battery was fully charged. Then everything just shut off. Cooking by candlelight, no power, stuck.

What customers notice most? The comfort difference

Jeroen from BGB talks about customer feedback on Super B batteries. The big thing people mention: things you can do, that you just can't with lead acid.

Because of Super B's high discharge currents, high-power devices can be used, such as coffee machines, water boilers, etc. Even charging your e-bike while you take a break. Simple things that weren't possible before.

Plus, the Be in Charge app lets them keep an eye on power usage and state of charge. No guessing.

Jeroen from BGB explains the weight challenge. 3500kg is usually the weight-limit, and with water, fuel, gear, and everything else, you're already pushing that limit.

Weather's been better lately, looks like camper season will start soon 🤞

Time to get everything ready. Check the water system for leaks, clean off those solar panels, test your gas lines, and make sure your tires are still good.

If you've got Epsilon batteries, at least you don't have to worry about whether they're still okay after months of sitting idle. They barely lose charge over winter, no corrosion, no dead cells, no nasty surprises.

One less thing on your prep checklist.
