The Swiss Klinik REHAB Basel, highly specialised in neurorehabilitation and paraplegiology, aims to restore independence and quality of life for those affected and help them reintegrate into society after an illness or severe trauma.

To achieve these goals, the team led by Dr Margret Hund-Georgiadis has been using DIH's innovative therapy solutions for many years. With robotic neurorehabilitation devices such as Hocoma's Lokomat®Pro Sensation or Armeo®Spring Pro and Armeo®Senso or Motek's C-Mill VR+, patients with mobility impairments of the upper and lower extremities at various levels of severity can be treated in a highly efficient, safe and motivating manner.

Last week, our clinical applications team had the pleasure of training therapists with the Hocoma Lokomat®Pro Sensation in order to make our latest therapy features accessible. These include the new ‘Smart Algorithm’ with its automated load control and the ‘Virtual walks’, which make the training experience even more real and motivating for patients.

We wish all therapists and patients an enhanced recovery with our therapy solutions and look forward to continuing our successful collaboration with REHAB Basel!

Last week, our C-Mill usergroup meeting took place again in Nieuwegein (NL), bringing together therapists from eight different facilities in the Netherlands.
The day was filled with valuable insights from an exciting workshop that offered numerous tips and tricks on the practical applications of the C-Mill. The highlight was an interesting, insightful presentation from Hans Bloo, Head of therapy and owner at Rembrandt Fysiotherapie & Revalidatie on the topic of fall prevention. All in all, it was a successful day that promoted dialogue and learning among the therapists.

A big thank you to Britte Van Someren and the team at GoFysio for hosting us—it was a fantastic day of knowledge-sharing and networking!
