Hoogvliet Supermarkets is the first in Europe to implement Pcdata's Distrib Robopick Solution

Together with Hoogvliet Supermarkets, we are achieving a European first. Hoogvliet Supermarkets will be the first in Europe to robotise the sorting process for bread crates in its bakery. Pcdata's Distrib Robopick solution makes a labour-intensive process smarter, more consistent and future-proof.

Gerald Willemsen, Bakery Manager at Hoogvliet:
The distribution process in fresh bakeries has been a concern of mine for years: it is physically demanding for our employees and involves high labour costs due to evening and night work. Given the current labour shortage, automating this process is a must in order to get our bread fresh to the supermarkets every day. Thanks to Pcdata's experience with robot picking, we believe we have found a suitable and, above all, sustainable solution together.

De verdeel handeling in de dagvers bakkerijen is voor mij al jaren een zorg: fysiek zware belasting voor onze medewerkers en hoge loonkosten door arbeid in de avond of nacht. Bij de huidige krapte op de arbeidsmarkt is het automatiseren van deze handeling een “must”, om dagelijks ons brood vers in de filialen te krijgen. Dankzij de ervaringen van Pcdata met robot picking, denken wij samen een passende en vooral duurzame oplossing te hebben gevonden.
