𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱!
At the closing of the year 2025 our production locations were visited by Kiwa Nederland for the RecyClass audit to confirm the usage of recycled content in their products. Already in 2024 Modiform’s recycling location in Leusden was certified for making granulate out of used PS trays. In 2025 the focus was on getting the PP pots, PS trays and packs certified on the usage of recycled material. The audits were successful!

The certificates indicate that amount of recycled material that is used. This is split up between post-consumer (often called Post Consumer Recyclate PCR, or PCW Post Consumer Waste) and pre-consumer (often called Post Industrial Recyclate).

Across the horticulture supply chain, the need for smart reusable transport solutions, convenience and optimal retail presentations continues to grow.

Although the displayed configuration is in development (patent pending), we want to give you an early look at the possibilities the Modiform Reusable Tray System can offer in the future. Think of seasonal inlays that can be easily swapped, durable trays that last through multiple cycles, flexible presentation options for various retail moments, and an efficient logistics flow thanks to a uniform reusable system. This system contributes to reducing single‑use packaging and creates new opportunities for striking, brand‑aligned retail presentations.

We want to thank everyone who visited our booth for inspiring conversations, the curiosity, and the great insights you shared with us.
During the show, Modiform introduced an innovative concept that we are proudly working on: a reusable tray system combined with a fully die‑cut cardboard inlay suitable for a great number of pot sizes and configurations. A small change with a significant impact.

We’re pleased to be at IPM Essen from January 27–30 in Hall 1, Stand 1E11. This year, we will present our Reusable Transport Tray System (patent pending), developed to support sustainability goals and comply with European PPWR legislation. Our solution offers benefits for all stakeholders in the supply chain. It consists of four universal base trays that can be combined with a wide range of cardboard inlays to accommodate different pot sizes.

Ter Laak Orchios about Modiform:
At Van der Laak, we’ve been using this 5085 Orchid tray 60 for over four years now and it works perfectly for us. Over time, we’ve conducted several tests, even with alternative trays, but we always come back to this one. Our collaboration with Modiform has been excellent. Whenever we face a challenge or have feedback, communication is quick and solutions are implemented immediately. Looking ahead, we will continue working closely with Modiform to further optimize cultivation and achieve even better results.
