๐ฌ When did you start at Cremer and what is your role?
""I joined Cremer in March 2020, the day after the first coronavirus announcement when handshakes were suddenly off the table. It was certainly a memorable start! I began as an Engineer in the R&D department, later became a Technical Project Lead, and since 2024 Iโve also been working part-time as Continuous Improvement Manager.""
๐ฌ How did you end up at Cremer and what has kept you here?
""I first heard about Cremer through a former colleague. What keeps me here is the combination of challenging work, appreciation from both colleagues and managers, and the freedom to shape my own role and responsibilities.""
๐ฌ What is the biggest challenge you have solved at Cremer?
""After just one year, I was asked to lead a major new development project within R&D. It involved much more than technology alone: expanding the team, implementing new software and CAD systems, introducing a new HMI and collaborating closely with our parent company Uhlmann. Seeing all those elements come together successfully was incredibly rewarding.""
๐ฌ Which project or machine are you most proud of and why?
""Honestly, Iโm proud of every new machine we develop. Each project brings its own challenges and learning opportunities, which makes the work both exciting and enjoyable.""
๐ฌ How do you unwind after a dayโs work?
""Youโll often find me training on my motorbike for Motogymkhana, a motorcycle agility sport. I also enjoy bouldering or simply relaxing on the sofa with a good series.""
