The legend of Sherakhan.

Originally launched in 1966 in the Netherlands as the maritime training and support vessel Prinses Margriet, the 70m Sherakhan began her life in service before entering a remarkable second chapter.

Between 2002 and 2005, she was reimagined as a luxury explorer yacht by our founder, Jan Verkerk, with naval architecture by Kees Koek (Koek Marine Design) and interiors by Claudia Rijntjes.

Since her transformation, Sherakhan has established herself as a true global explorer, taking guests to some of the world’s most remote and extraordinary regions, from Antarctica and Greenland to Patagonia, the Caribbean, and Indonesia.

Today, she is available for private charter, for those who want to experience the legendary Sherakhan in person.
