NRF TURBO TUESDAY- Is your turbocharger losing power? Here's what might be happening…

The driver noticed the car sometimes struggled to deliver full power. We checked the turbocharger and decided to take it apart to understand the cause.
🔍 What did we find?
❌ Broken turbo blades – most likely caused by a foreign object entering the system
❌ Damaged actuator (with a broken tooth) – affecting proper turbo operation

💡 What’s the key takeaway?
Replacing a turbocharger alone isn’t always the solution.
If the root cause isn’t identified, the same issue can quickly damage your new turbo. Always make sure to:
✔️Inspect the engine for underlying issues
✔️Check for foreign objects or component failures
✔️Fix the cause before installing a new turbo

⚠️ A turbo doesn’t fail “on its own”, there’s always a reason. Take care of the source, not just the symptom.

This weekend, it was time for the heavyweights. Together with a large group of partners, we attended the opening round of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship in Misano, Italy.
