Optimal control🌱

In leafy green production, control is often discussed at greenhouse level. But for the crop, the microclimate around the plant can make the real difference.

Wouter Kuiper, Marco van Daalen and the KUBO China team recently visited Haoyu Group in China.

The visit marked two important milestones: the first planting in greenhouse 5 of Haoyu Phase 3 and the official signing for greenhouses 8 and 9.

These steps underline the strength of our partnership with Haoyu Group. A partnership built on trust, continuity and a shared ambition: creating modern greenhouse horticulture that is ready for further growth.

World Bee Day is a good moment to celebrate all pollinators. 🐝

In KUBO greenhouses, pollination is often supported by bumblebees. They are part of the wider group of pollinators and play an important role in helping crops develop naturally.

We also test and observe this in our own Blue Lab test centre, where we explore how natural pollination, greenhouse technology and climate control work together in practice. Because sustainable growing is not about replacing nature. It is about creating the right conditions for nature and technology to strengthen each other.

Afgelopen zaterdag verruilden we de kas even voor de grachten van Amsterdam. 🚤

Met de personeelsvereniging vertrokken we vanuit Monster richting de hoofdstad voor een gezellige dag met collega’s. In verschillende teams gingen we het water op voor de Sloepen Game, met opdrachten, samenwerking en natuurlijk een beetje gezonde competitie.

Na de winst van het beste team sloten we de dag af met lekkere hapjes en drankjes.

Bedankt aan iedereen die erbij was en aan de personeelsvereniging voor de organisatie.

Op naar het volgende uitje! 🌅
