At the end of June, we visited several companies along the route from Kristiansand to Stavanger.

It was a very enjoyable and insightful trip, with great conversations, useful feedback, and valuable insights from professionals who know the industry well.

A special thank you to Kåsen Fjellsprengning AS for welcoming us, allowing us to see the equipment in operation, and helping us learn more about the needs out in the field. Meetings like these give us a much better understanding of how we at Velroq can make everyday work easier for our customers.

Hot summer? The operator feels it fast when the AC gives out.

The AC hose is one of those parts nobody thinks about, right up until the cooling disappears mid-shift. A leaking hose means lost coolant, a worse climate in the cabin, and a worn-out operator sweating through 30-degree heat.

The holiday period is the right time for planned maintenance. Swap the hose while the rig is already parked, not when production is running flat out.

The hose reel moves back and forth all day long. That's where wear creeps in, on the mating surfaces in the feed assembly.

Wearing Pieces are designed for exactly this. A wear part that takes the hit, so the more expensive components around it last longer.
