Dutch translation of NGVA online LNG training available!

As part of the Bio-LNG Platform, PitPoint.LNG has recently worked on the Dutch version of NGVA’s online LNG training. The training was already available in English, German and French, but now the Dutch version of the training is also available on the platform.

The training can be found at www.ngva.eu/lngtraining/, and consists of several modules which take the driver step-by-step through the refueling process, the features of LNG and safety.


This online training is suitable to ensure LNG drivers are properly instructed on how to refuel an LNG truck. The training helps reduce accidents, reduce refueling time, and prevents downtime caused by user errors.


According to PGS 33-1.1, the employer is responsible for educating the LNG truck driver. The registration for the training can be done on the aforementioned website and can be purchased in bundles as well as one-off. The training is self-paced and has an estimated duration of 1-1.5 hours. The driver will receive a personalized certificate upon successful completion of the training.

Our new LNG station in 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗱 (Germany) is officially opened!

The installation is located at TotalEnergies’ truck station in Osterfeld and further expands its multi-fuel offering. It is equipped with two LNG dispensers, extra cold LNG especially for Volvo trucks, and refueling instructions in various languages.

The new LNG station is situated just 700 meters from the A9, Exit 21B Droyßig. It is easily accessible from both sides of the highway and available 24/7. There is a large truck parking area as well as a café, shop, shower and toilet. In addition to LNG, truck drivers will also find Diesel, AdBlue and Petrol here.

Our LNG station in Rekkem is located close to the A22/E17 highway, the logistics gateway to France.

Did you know that we have great facilities at this station, that is situated at the TotalEnergies station? Besides the availability of two dispensers, extra cold LNG and a canopy, there is a parking with overnight stay including dinner, a shop, a restaurant, and sanitary facilities.

Moreover, we offer a free coffee after every LNG refueling! Make sure to come by.

During the month of May we put a spotlight on our LNG station in Alsfeld (Autohof Pfefferhöhe, A5 - Exit 3).

Construction work on our new LNG refueling station at Autohof im Heidegrund Süd in Osterfeld (Germany) is in full swing!

The pipes have already been placed. Next up is pouring the concrete for the foundation and placing the LNG storage tank.

Comfort for truck drivers at PitPoint.LNG stations!

Did you know that many of our stations have multiple facilities? At most stations there is a (supervised) truck parking, a shop, cafés and restaurants, and sanitary facilities like toilets and showers. A couple of stations have even more to offer, such as a laundry room, a hotel and a butchery.

Take for example our station in Alsfeld, Germany; this station is located at Autohof Pfefferhöhe which has several great facilities such as multiple restaurants, a hotel, toilet and shower, 80 parking spots and a laundry service.

Refueling LNG at PitPoint.LNG is easy, fast and safe.

To ensure safety and prevent downtime, it is important that the right instructions are followed while refueling at our stations. It is important that LNG truck drivers have the right skills to refuel LNG to ensure safety and prevent downtime. Therefore, it is required for drivers to attend a refueling training course before refueling LNG. According to the latest regulations, the transport company is responsible for drivers being properly trained to refuel LNG.
