Women in Aerospace (WIA) Europe is dedicated to expanding women's opportunities for leadership and increasing their visibility in the aerospace community, by creating a Network in Europe and across the globe. Our membership, consisting of both women and men, share an interest in a broad spectrum of aerospace issues, including human space flight and exploration, aviation, remote sensing, satellite

communications, robotic missions, commercial space, space tourism, and the policy issues surrounding these fields.

📣IL NOBEL PER LA FISICA ALLA SCIENZIATA ANNE L'HUILLIER

ℹAnne L'Huillier è una fisica francese, specializzata in fisica atomica, che insegna all'Università di Lund in Svezia.

💥E' la quinta donna a essere insignita del Premio Nobel per la Fisica, premiata assieme a Pierre Agostini (USA) e Ferenc Krausz (Germania) “per lo sviluppo di metodi sperimentali che generano impulsi di luce della durata di attosecondi”.

💥Prima di lei: Marie Curie (1903), Maria Goeppert-Mayer (1963), Donna Strikland (2018), Andrea Ghez (2020).

⭐In conferenza stampa, L’Huillier ha incoraggiato le giovani donne interessate a una carriera scientifica. Sposata e madre di due figli, ha evidenziato che è possibile conciliare la carriera di ricercatrice con «una vita ordinaria, con una famiglia e dei figli».

Complimenti alla scienziata, con l'auspicio che sempre più donne possano riuscire ad intraprendere la carriera scientifica.
